Window Tinting in Trafford Park: One of Europe's Largest Industrial Estates
Window tinting in Trafford Park comes down to one question: what is the glass doing that you do not want? Heat, glare, prying eyes, fading or a weak spot for break-ins all have a film that answers them. One-way film lets you keep the view and lose the audience, as long as you remember it reverses after dark. Safety film is worth a look on full-height glass and low panes, where an accident is more likely.
The person who surveys your windows is the person who fits the film, so there are no hand-offs. Whatever the building, we match the film to the problem rather than selling one film for everything. Stretford, Old Trafford and Davyhulme and the neighbouring towns are all part of our regular patch.

Trafford Park: what the local glass is like
Trafford Park is a huge industrial and business estate, with manufacturers, distributors, offices and the services around them. Its glass is the glass of working buildings: reception areas, site offices, mezzanine windows and gatehouses.
Working buildings, working glass
On an estate this size the same four jobs come up again and again. Reception and office glass that faces a yard wants one-way film. Screens want glare control. Glazed doors want safety film, and sometimes markers. Ground-floor panes on valuable sites want security film. We work on live sites, with site cards and access training, and can group several units into a single visit.

- A very large estate
- Trafford Park is huge, with many gates and roads. Tell us the unit, the gate and the contact, and we will agree access and sign-in before we arrive, so nobody loses time on the day.
- Warehouses with glazed offices
- Behind the cladding of the big sheds sit glazed offices, mezzanines and reception areas overlooking the yard. One-way film and anti-glare film make them calmer to work in without changing the building.
- Round-the-clock operations
- Trafford Park never fully stops, so we plan visits around shift changes and can fit overnight if an area is quiet then. Cabins and gatehouses used at night get a lower-reflectivity film.
What window film costs in Trafford Park
Costs follow the area of glass. Entry-level film is from about £60 per square metre and Solar Gard from about £95, including the fitting. Here is the sum for three typical jobs. A glazed front door and side panels is worth roughly 2.5 m², so about £150 to £240; a bay window is roughly 3.5 m², about £210 to £330; and a kitchen window is roughly 1.2 m², about £70 to £115.
We survey for free and put a single price in writing afterwards. Tall mill and industrial windows need a tower or platform, which is added to the quote. You can see how a similar job looked in our Haydock job. Our window film prices page goes into more detail and has a calculator.
Trafford Park window film questions
Can you film several units in one visit?
Yes. Grouping makes the visit simpler and the quote clearer. Grouping units on the same estate or site makes the visit simpler and the quote clearer, and we plan the sequence so each unit is disrupted for as little time as possible.
Can you work on a live site?
Yes. Site cards and access training. We work on live sites and in occupied buildings, following your induction, vehicle routes, permits and security rules. Our fitters carry CSCS, IPAF and PASMA cards, and larger jobs are planned in stages so operations carry on.
Can window film be removed?
Film is not permanent. It can be taken off cleanly, and many customers choose to replace a worn or unsuitable film with a better-matched one. If you lease the property or expect to move, that flexibility is part of the appeal. See film removal and replacement.
How should I look after my window film?
For the first month the film is still drying out, so you may see small cloudy patches or minute water pockets. They are harmless and fade away. After that, routine cleaning is easy: a soft lint-free cloth or rubber squeegee with mild, ammonia-free cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads and blades near the film, and do not tape or stick anything directly onto it.
