Window Tinting in Tarvin: A Village Beside Chester
If a room in Tarvin is too hot, too bright or on show to the street, window tinting is usually the cheapest cure. We fit solar, privacy, frosted, UV and security films to homes and commercial premises. Because the film is fitted to existing windows, it is quicker and far cheaper than new glass, and it can be taken off again later.
Every job starts with a free survey, and the price you are quoted afterwards is fixed in writing. Most of the films we fit are backed by a manufacturer's warranty of ten years or more. Chester, Tarporley and Kelsall and the neighbouring towns are all part of our regular patch.

- A village beside Chester
- Tarvin is a village just east of Chester, with older houses at its centre and new estates around it. Estates want rear-door heat control and older houses may want near-clear film.

- Many houses have a glazed front door or side panels. Frosted film keeps the light in the hall and the view out.
What window film costs in Tarvin
Our starting rates are about £60 per square metre for entry-level film and £95 for Solar Gard, and the fitting is included in both. To put numbers on it, a kitchen window of about 1.2 m² would start at £70 (entry-level) or £115 (Solar Gard). For a bathroom window, around 0.6 m², think £35 to £55. For a pair of French doors, around 4 m², think £240 to £380.
Once measured, you get one written price that does not change. On an estate of similar houses, grouping neighbours can lower the cost per house. Rough figures for other jobs are on the window film prices page.
Tarvin window film questions
Can neighbours do it together?
Yes. Doing neighbouring houses or units together keeps the visit simple and reduces the cost per job. Tell us who else is interested and we will quote each one separately and fit them on the same visit.
Is there a warranty on window film?
The film itself is warranted by its maker, usually for ten years or more. We hand over the documents when the job is finished, and the people who fitted it are the people you ring if anything is not right.
Do you offer a free survey in Tarvin?
A visit to measure up and show samples costs nothing, and you are under no obligation afterwards. You get one price in writing that does not change.
