Window Tinting in Cleveleys: A Seafront Town of Bungalows and Flats
Window tinting in Cleveleys is a quick, tidy job that makes rooms more comfortable and more private. We supply and fit residential and commercial window film across the area. Film goes on the inside of the glass you already have, so there is no replacement glazing and the frames are untouched.
We fit homes and businesses, so whichever you are, the process is the same: a free survey, samples on your glass and one fixed price. Most jobs are finished in a day, and often in a morning. We are regularly in Thornton, Fleetwood and Blackpool, and anywhere else in Lancashire.

About window film in Cleveleys
Cleveleys is a seafront town with a promenade, bungalows and flats looking at the sea.

Sea light and bungalows
Flats on the sea front take sun and glare off the water, and a light neutral film helps. Bungalows want privacy at road level. For flats, ask the managing agent first.

Film is priced per square metre, and the fitting is part of that price. Expect from about £60 for entry-level film and £95 for Solar Gard. As a guide, a bungalow's front windows (around 6 m²) comes to about £360 in entry-level film or £570 in Solar Gard; the front windows of a typical house (about 10 m²) to £600 or £950; and a bay window (around 3.5 m²) to £210 or £330.
We fix one price in writing after the free survey, so there are no surprises on the day. In an apartment block we confirm what the managing agent will allow before fixing the price. Our Penwortham job gives a sense of scale.
Cleveleys window film questions
Does sea air affect film?
No. It is inside the glass. Film is applied to the inside of the glass, so weather, spray, salt and sand do not reach it. What matters is the glass itself and how much sun it takes, which we check at the survey. Film on a sea-facing window lasts as long as film anywhere else.
Do I need permission for a flat?
If you lease it, usually. Rules differ by building and by council. Reversible film applied to the inside of the glass is often acceptable, but listed status, a conservation area or a lease can change that. We tell you at the survey where we think consent may be needed, and we provide data sheets and a work description to support an application.
Can I still see out through tinted windows?
In daylight, yes, with every film apart from frosted, which blurs the view in both directions. With the sea or the estuary to look at, keeping the view is usually the whole point, so we favour light films. The view out is a little toned down by reflective or dark films. At night with a light on inside, mirror films reverse, which is why frosted film or a blind is the answer for evening privacy.
Do you offer a free survey in Cleveleys?
