Window Tinting in Aintree: A Racecourse, a Hospital and Estates
People in Aintree ask us for window tinting when the sun, the street or the neighbours are getting into a room. The fix is film fitted to the inside of the glass you already have. A shopfront is a sign, and branded window film makes the glass work as one without a fascia. Solar control film lowers the temperature of a sun-baked room without darkening it as much as most people expect.
We fit homes and businesses, so whichever you are, the process is the same: a free survey, samples on your glass and one fixed price. Our fitters are employees, not subcontractors, and each one is DBS checked. We are regularly in Maghull, Walton and Fazakerley, and anywhere else in Merseyside.

- Grand National week
- The racecourse draws huge crowds, and pubs, cafes and shops nearby are busy in race week. We avoid those dates and fit around them, so a shopfront job is never in the way of trade.
- Racecourse days
- Aintree's racecourse fills the area on big race days, so we avoid those dates for access and tell you when we have moved a booking.
- The hospital and its practices
- The large hospital means dental, optical and therapy practices nearby. Frosted film for consulting rooms is typical, and it wipes clean.
Costs for window tinting in Aintree
You pay for the glass area, not for the visit: from about £60 per square metre for entry-level film and £95 for Solar Gard, fitted. Some examples: a pair of French doors, £240 to £380 (about 4 m²); a glazed front door and side panels, £150 to £240 (about 2.5 m²); the front windows of a typical house, £600 to £950 (about 10 m²).
On an estate of similar houses, grouping neighbours can lower the cost per house. Measure first, quote second: you get one fixed written price after a free visit. Have a look at our Cheadle job for a comparison. There is an estimator on the window film prices page if you want to try your own sizes.
Aintree window film questions
Are your fitters DBS checked?
Yes. Our fitters are employed by us, never subcontracted, and every one is DBS checked. That matters in surgeries, schools, nurseries and homes, where the people coming in work near staff, children and patients. We are also fully insured and can provide the paperwork you need.
Can you fit outside hours?
Yes. We fit around you, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Tell us when the premises are quiet and we will schedule the job then, with access and security details agreed beforehand.
Will window film damage my windows?
Correctly chosen film does not damage windows. The risk is using a film that absorbs a lot of heat on a large pane in strong sun, which can stress the glass. We check the glass type, size and shade at the survey and choose a film that reflects more and absorbs less where there is a risk.
Which film is best for keeping a room cool?
Solar control film is the one for heat. Estate houses with big south or west-facing patio doors usually heat up first, so that is where film pays back most. Reflective films reject the most and add daytime privacy. Light neutral films keep the glass looking clear. Near-clear premium films give strong heat rejection with almost no tint. We bring each to the survey so you can judge the room.
