A big window you cannot easily get at
A Juliet balcony is a glass guard in front of a window or door, which means the window behind it is hard to reach from the outside.
In the photo, the three-pane window is behind that glass, and anyone looking up from the garden can see in.
Film on the window itself
We filmed the three-pane window, not the balcony. The reflective film mirrors the trees and sky in the photo, and the glass guard in front of it is clear.
It means the balcony keeps its clear look while the window behind it is private and calmer in the sun.
Working from inside
Because the balcony glass is outside the window, the film is applied from inside the room. We did it that way: clean each pane, apply the film, squeegee and trim it to the oak-effect uPVC frame.
A neat result
The window and balcony together look neat and uniform from outside.
It is one of those small jobs that make a room better without anyone noticing what was done.
Questions about filming behind a balcony
Can you film a window behind a Juliet balcony?
Yes. Film goes on the inside face of the glass, so what is outside the window does not matter.
Does it change how the balcony looks?
The balcony is unchanged. The window behind it reads as a mirror or darker panel in daylight.
Will it work in a bedroom?
Yes, for daytime privacy and glare. After dark, blinds are still needed.
