Shop and Retail Window Film Across the North West
A shopfront does several jobs at once. It has to show your window display to people walking past, keep the sun off your stock, give customers some privacy and carry your name. Window film can help with all four.
We fit it on shopfronts, salons, estate agents and showrooms across the North West, and we do it outside your trading hours so you lose no sales. Our fitters offer shop window film in all five North West counties, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire and Cumbria, with surveys in Manchester, Salford, Liverpool, Chester, Preston, Lancaster and Carlisle.

What a shopfront needs
Less glare
Sun on a window display bleaches the stock and makes the shop uncomfortable for staff.
UV protection
Stock sitting in a display all season fades. UV film slows it.
Privacy
In a salon or clinic, clients should not be on show from the pavement.
Branding
The glass is the largest sign you have. It can carry a logo, opening hours or a pattern.

A beauty salon on a retail parade
Our Bolton job shows a typical case. A beauty salon had a three-pane shopfront window and a glazed entrance door facing a car park. The window ran the full width of the front, and the people in the chairs were on view to everyone passing.
We filmed the window and the door with a reflective solar film. In daylight it mirrors the car park, as the photo shows, and the signage above is untouched. Inside, there is less glare and more privacy while the shop is open.
Branded glass for estate agents and showrooms
Estate agents, showrooms and any business with a glass front can use the glass as part of its brand. Our Fallowfield job combined a reflective solar film on the front windows with logo graphics on the entrance doors, and a branded partition inside. The film does its work on the heat and glare, and the graphics do the marketing. See decorative film.

Fitting round your trading hours
We fit shopfronts outside opening hours wherever we can, evenings or early mornings and weekends, so the shop is trading as normal when you open. A typical shopfront is a short job, because there are not many panes. The door gets particular attention, because it is used all day and the film has to be pressed down firmly at the edges.
If you lease the premises, check the lease. Most landlords agree when they see the film can be removed.

We fit shopfronts on high streets and retail parades across Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire and Merseyside, in town centres from Bolton and Stockport to Chester and Preston.
High streets across the North West all have the same problem: a south-facing window, a display that fades and glass that carries the brand. In Greater Manchester we film shopfronts in Manchester and Salford and the district centres around them. In Cheshire the work includes the historic frontages of Chester and village shops in Knutsford and Wilmslow. In Merseyside it takes in Liverpool's shopping streets and Southport's Lord Street, and in Lancashire Preston, Lancaster and the Fylde coast, with Carlisle and the Cumbrian market towns further north.
Most shopfronts are a morning's work, fitted before opening or after closing so the shop never loses a day's trade. That is how we work in Manchester, Liverpool, Chester and Preston, and in the smaller towns across Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire and Cumbria. Listed frontages are common in Lancaster, Chester and Carlisle, where we check consent first. See the areas we cover across the North West.
Shop window film questions
Will film affect my window display?
Customers still see it. Reflective film mirrors the street from outside in bright light, which can reduce visibility, so for display windows we usually recommend a clear or lightly tinted film instead. We discuss it at the survey.
Can you fit film outside opening hours?
Yes. Evenings and weekends are available.
Can you add my logo?
Yes. See our decorative film page.
Will it protect my stock from fading?
It slows fading. UV film blocks most ultraviolet light, which is the main cause.
Can it help against smash-and-grab?
Security film can. See security window film.
Do you do shopfront window film across the North West?
Yes. We fit shop window film in Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire and Cumbria, including the city centres of Manchester, Salford, Liverpool, Chester, Preston, Lancaster and Carlisle and high streets in between. We fit before opening or after closing, and the survey and quote are free.
