Window Tinting for Chorley and Euxton Homes: Bungalow Sunrooms, Conservatories and Estates
For residential window tinting in Chorley, we fit solar, privacy, frosted, UV and security films to patio doors, bay windows, kitchens, bathrooms, extensions and conservatories. The hottest room in the house is often the glass one, and conservatory film brings it back to a temperature you can sit in. A glass roof lantern lets in the light and the heat, and roof lantern film keeps more of the first than the second.
Photos of the windows are often enough for a first price, before anyone visits. The films we use carry manufacturer warranties, typically ten years or more. Euxton, Adlington and Coppull and the neighbouring towns are all part of our regular patch.

Window film for Chorley homes: what we find locally
Chorley and Euxton are suburban: estates, semis and a very large number of bungalows, many with a conservatory or sunroom on the back. Our Euxton job is a bungalow sunroom, and sunrooms are one of the most rewarding film jobs there is.
A tiled roof changes what film is for, and that is the interesting part.
A bungalow sunroom in Euxton
Our Euxton job is a bungalow with a conservatory or sunroom with a tiled roof. The problem is the walls of glass and not the ceiling. We filmed the conservatory windows and top lights, plus the French doors and side windows, with reflective solar control film. With a solid roof, the sun comes through the side glazing, and film stops it there.
If your conservatory has a glass roof, the answer is different and includes the roof panels. See the Euxton job page and our conservatory film page.

Conservatories and sunrooms: what the roof means
| Roof | Where the sun comes in | What we film |
|---|---|---|
| Tiled or solid roof | Through the side glazing and doors | Walls, French doors and top lights |
| Glass roof | Through the roof as well | Roof panels, walls and doors. See roof lantern and skylight film |
| Polycarbonate roof | Through the roof, but plastic flexes | We check first. See conservatory film |

Chorley window film: how the price works
There is no day rate or hidden extras on the film itself: it is a price per square metre, from roughly £60 for entry-level film and £95 for Solar Gard. In practice that means a roof lantern (roughly 5 m²) at £300 to £475, a conservatory (roughly 15 m²) at £900 to £1,420, and a kitchen window (roughly 1.2 m²) at £70 to £115.
You will have a fixed written price after the survey, and no obligation to go ahead. Glass roofs and conservatories are the biggest jobs in a home, because every panel needs preparing and filming separately.
Chorley residential window film questions
Does my roof matter for film?
Yes. It decides where the film goes. A glass roof needs the roof panels filmed, and a tiled roof means the walls and doors. Each pane is measured, cut and fitted individually, so bays, curves and large glazed doors are all filmed to match. The film is applied wet and squeegeed flat, and trimmed clear of seals, handles and runners.
Will film make my sunroom dark?
A little less bright, which is the point. It is still a light room. Film changes the light, but a light neutral film changes it very little, and most customers say rooms feel calmer rather than darker. We bring several tints to the survey and hold them against your glass at the time of day you use the room.
Can you film French doors with side panels?
Yes. One film across the whole opening. The doors and side panels are filmed together so they match. We plan around your hours, using evenings, weekends, holidays and closed days, and agree access and security with you in advance. Our fitters leave each area clean and ready to use.
Can window film be removed?
Yes, and cleanly. We warm the film, peel it and clear the adhesive from the glass, so the window is left as it was. If you simply want a different look, we can fit a new film over the same glass. See film removal and replacement.
Will window film reduce my energy bills?
The effect is real but modest. Solar control film cuts the sun's heat entering a room, easing reliance on fans or air conditioning in summer, and thermal film reflects some heat back in winter. We do not promise a figure, because it varies with glass and orientation, but comfort gains are usually obvious.
How much does window tinting cost in Chorley?
Residential window film in Chorley typically starts at about £60 per square metre for entry-level film, £95 for Solar Gard and £300 for 3M, supplied and fitted. A small bathroom window costs a few tens of pounds, a bay window a few hundred and a whole house more, depending on the film. We give one fixed price in writing after a free survey.
