A window between two rooms
Some offices have a window that does not look outside at all. It looks from one room into another. This one sits in a partition wall between two offices.
It gave the back office a full view of the front one, and the other way round.
One-way film on the internal window
We fitted a one-way mirror film. In the photo, the window reflects the front office and hides the room behind it.
The effect is the privacy of a wall, with the daylight of a window.
Internal glass, no weather
Fitting film to internal glass is simpler than external work in one way: no weather, no dirt from outside. The glass was cleaned, the film applied and trimmed to the frame of the partition.
One room private from the other
The window now reflects the front office from the front side. The back office is hidden from view, and the daylight still comes through the glass.
Questions about film on internal windows
Does one-way film work between two rooms?
Yes, when one room is brighter than the other. The brighter side sees the mirror, and the darker side sees through.
What if the lighting changes?
The effect reverses if the lighting does. It works best where you can control which room is brighter.
Can film go on internal glass in a partition?
Yes. Internal glass is simple to film, and we check the glass type first.
