Commercial Window Tinting in West Kirby and Hoylake: Seafront Cafes, Restaurants and Shops
Our commercial window tinting in West Kirby and Hoylake is aimed at working buildings: reception glass, shopfronts, office floors, partitions, doors and site cabins, installed with as little disruption as possible. Frosted film blocks the view at every hour, which suits meeting rooms, consulting rooms, treatment rooms and any glass that looks onto the street. UV protection film protects stock and window displays from bleaching, and is nearly invisible on the glass.
Film changes how a building looks, so we show samples on your own glass in your own light. Every fitter is an employee of ours and DBS checked. We are regularly in Hoylake, Meols and Caldy, and anywhere else in Merseyside.

West Kirby and Hoylake businesses: the glass we see and what it needs
West Kirby and Hoylake sit at the north-west tip of the Wirral, with a marine lake, the Dee estuary and the sea. The commercial glass is seafront cafes and restaurants, shops on the high streets and the visitors who come for the golf and the sands.
The brief for a seafront venue is glare off the water, and for a high-street shop, fading.

West Kirby and Hoylake commercial window film questions
Does glare off the water matter?
Yes. A light neutral film evens it out without losing the view. Low sun off water is hard to block with a blind. Mirror and one-way films depend on the outside being brighter than the inside, so they reverse after dark. For round-the-clock privacy we recommend frosted film, or a light blind for the evening, and we explain this at every survey.
Can you fit outside opening hours?
Yes. We can work evenings, weekends and closed days, and we agree the timing and access with you in advance. Most shopfronts are done before opening and offices over a weekend, so there is no loss of trade.
Does sea air affect film?
No. It is inside the glass. Film is applied to the inside of the glass, so weather, spray, salt and sand do not reach it. What matters is the glass itself and how much sun it takes, which we check at the survey. Film on a sea-facing window lasts as long as film anywhere else.
How long does commercial window film last?
Most professionally fitted film outlasts a decade. The films we use are covered by manufacturer's warranties of 10 years or more, and in our experience Solar Gard in particular often keeps going beyond its warranty. Sun exposure, cleaning habits and glass type all play a part.
Can the film be removed if we move or the lease ends?
Yes, and cleanly. Shops in West Kirby and Hoylake are often leased, and removable film is one of the few improvements you can take with you. We warm the film, peel it and clear the adhesive from the glass, so the window is left as it was. If you simply want a different look, we can fit a new film over the same glass. See film removal and replacement.
