Commercial Window Tinting in Burnley: Canalside Mills, Business Units and Town-Centre Shops
We provide commercial window tinting in Burnley for offices, shops, schools, surgeries, venues and industrial sites, fitted to the glass you already have and arranged around when you trade. On glass-fronted floors, solar control film takes the heat and dazzle out of the room without blinds that stay closed all day.
A single point of contact runs the job from survey to handover, with no sub-contractor chain behind it. Every fitter is an employee of ours and DBS checked. We are regularly in Padiham, Nelson and Brierfield, and anywhere else in Lancashire.

Window film for Burnley businesses: what we find locally
Burnley's mills run along the canal in the Weavers' Triangle, with big brick blocks now used as workspaces, studios, offices and businesses. The rest of the commercial glass is units on the business parks, a town centre of shops and a football ground that fills the town on match days.
Much of it is large, old glass in big brick buildings, and a lot of it is in the cool end of the county.

What window film costs in Burnley
Costs follow the area of glass. Entry-level film is from about £60 per square metre and Solar Gard from about £95, including the fitting. Here is the sum for three typical jobs. A small office floor is worth roughly 30 m², so about £1,800 to £2,850; a salon or cafe front is roughly 10 m², about £600 to £950; and a single shopfront is roughly 8 m², about £480 to £760.
The survey is free and the price you are given afterwards does not move. Access, the number of panes and the film you choose all move the figure, so treat these as illustrations. The window film prices page has an estimator you can play with.
Burnley commercial window film questions
Can you film tall mill windows?
Yes, by tower or platform. We use scaffold towers or access platforms and film pane by pane from the top down. Mill windows are often big and old, so we check the glass and choose a film that suits it. The access is included in the fixed quote.
Do listed mills need consent?
Possibly. A near-clear film is the safer choice. The safest approach is to ask the council before you book, particularly for a reflective finish or a listed building. Interior film is reversible, and a near-clear film is much less likely to raise an objection, so we usually suggest samples of those first.
Can you fit out of hours?
Yes. Working outside hours is the best way to do commercial glass: no customers or staff in the way, no loss of trade and a cleaner finish. We plan the visit with you at the survey and fix the dates in writing.
Do you offer a free survey for businesses in Burnley?
Yes, the survey is free. For a shop, we can survey outside trading hours so you are not disturbed. We visit, measure the glass, look at how it is reached and hold samples against your windows, then send one fixed written price. For simple jobs, a few photos can give you a first idea before we come.
Why use a specialist rather than a general glazier or sign company?
Film is sold for DIY, and a small flat window on a good day can be done at home. Tall mill and industrial windows are out of reach without a tower or platform, which is not a DIY job. Where it goes wrong is size and edges: a large pane, a curved bay or a high window is hard to keep dust-free and flat, and a poor result usually has to be stripped off and redone.
How much does commercial window tinting cost in Burnley?
How much depends on how much glass there is and which film you choose. A shopfront in Burnley is usually a few hundred pounds, depending on the size of the glass and the film. Starting rates are about £60 per square metre for entry-level, £95 for Solar Gard and £300 for 3M. We measure first, then fix the price in writing.
