Branded Window Film: Printed Window Graphics and Signage in the North West
Branded window film puts your name, logo and message on the glass. It can be cut lettering, a full-colour print, see-through perforated vinyl or a frosted panel with your logo cut out. The glass becomes your largest sign, and it works day and night.
We design, print and fit window graphics for shops, offices, clinics and venues across the North West. If you are after patterns, colour or gradients rather than a logo, see decorative and patterned window film. If you are looking for branded window film in the North West, we work in Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire and Cumbria, and in the cities of Manchester, Salford, Liverpool, Chester, Preston, Lancaster and Carlisle.

In short
Branded window film is any film that carries your branding: cut vinyl lettering, printed full-colour graphics, see-through perforated prints or frosted film with a logo. It is applied to the glass you already have and can be changed or removed later.
Four kinds of branded window film
Cut vinyl lettering
Opening hours, names and logos cut from solid colour film. Crisp, durable and the most economical.
Full-colour print
A printed design, a photograph or detailed artwork on film. For feature windows and promotions.
Perforated (see-through) print
A printed graphic with tiny holes, so you see the design outside and the view out is mostly kept inside.
Frosted with a cut-out logo
A frosted film with your logo cut out of it, or applied on top. Privacy and branding in one. See frosted film.
Perforated vinyl: a printed window you can see through
Perforated window film is printed on one side and punched with a fine pattern of tiny holes. From outside, you see the printed image. From inside, your eye looks through the holes, so you can see out, though a little dimmer. The effect depends on the light, and like mirror film it can fade after dark when the inside is brighter than the outside.
It suits shopfronts, offices and vehicles where you want a large image and a view out at the same time. It is not for glass where you need full clarity.
Shop window graphics compared
| Option | Look | Light inside | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cut vinyl lettering | Crisp, solid colour | Little change | Names, opening hours, small logos |
| Full-colour print | Rich, detailed artwork | Blocks light where printed | Feature windows and promotions |
| Perforated print | Full image outside, see-through inside | Reduced a little | Large graphics where the view matters |
| Frosted with logo | Soft, subtle, premium | Most light passes | Offices, clinics, reception glass |
An estate agent's branded glass
One of our jobs shows how film and branding work together. An estate agency in Fallowfield had black-framed windows on two floors and a pair of glazed entrance doors, plus a glass partition inside and two small rear windows.
We fitted reflective solar film to the front windows and doors, applied logo graphics to the doors and the partition, and frosted the two rear windows with the company logo cut out of the film. The result cuts glare and heat, carries the brand and picks up the same logo inside. It is covered in full on its job page.

From artwork to window
Artwork
Send your logo or artwork, ideally as a vector file. We will tidy it if needed.
Visual
We put the design on a photo of your windows, so you see it before anything is made.
Print or cut
The graphics are made to the exact size of each pane.
Fit
Applied wet and aligned to the glass, so lettering sits level across doors and panels.
Rules, permissions and changing the message
Most window graphics inside a shop need little formality, but if your building is listed or in a conservation area, or if graphics cover a large part of the glass, check with the council first. If you lease the premises, check the lease. We can help with the paperwork.
Graphics are not for ever. Brands change, shops move and promotions end, and window film can be taken off and replaced without damaging the glass. See film removal and replacement. Keep exits and vision panels clear, and see glass manifestation if the graphics will also mark glass doors.

We fit window graphics for shops, offices and venues across the North West, from high streets in Greater Manchester and Cheshire to town centres in Lancashire and Merseyside.
Businesses across the North West use branded window film to turn a shopfront or an office entrance into signage. In Greater Manchester we have fitted logo graphics on estate agents and shops in Manchester and Salford and the district centres, and in Cheshire the high streets of Chester, Knutsford and Wilmslow. In Merseyside it is Liverpool's retail streets and Southport's Lord Street, in Lancashire Preston, Lancaster and Blackpool, and in Cumbria Carlisle and the Lakeland towns.
The artwork is mocked up on a photo of your own frontage before anything is cut, wherever you are in Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire or Cumbria. Branded film is usually fitted before opening, in Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, Preston, Lancaster, Salford or Carlisle alike, and can be updated later if your branding or hours change.
